Photos of cosmopolitan cityscapes are systematically scanned and display views of office blocks, flats, dark corners, illuminated windows and skyscrapers. On a soundtrack you hear a woman's voice recounting her story and that of the world. about images of today, about a journey. Her monologue is a fictionalised version of the impressions that Asselbergh’s picked up during his trip to Palestine. He deliberately chose the film to show the explosive and mediatized situation in the region by taking an absolutely minimalist audiovisual approach. The fact that he creates a detached view by using a female voice instead of his own, coupled with deviating from a run-of-the-mill documentary style, produces a complex approach to his ideas and feelings on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Des photos de paysages urbains sont systématiquement balayées et exposent des vues d’immeubles de bureaux, coins noirs, fenêtres illuminées et gratte-ciels. Sur la bande son, la voix d’une femme raconte son histoire et celle du monde, à propos des images d’aujourd’hui, d’un voyage. Son monologue est une version fictionnelle de l’impression ressentie par Asselbergh lors de son séjour en Palestine. Il a délibérément choisi ce film pour montrer la situation explosive et médiatisée de la région en prenant une approche audiovisuelle totalement minimaliste. Le fait qu’il crée une vue détachée par le biais d’une voix féminine au lieu de sa propre voix, associé à l’écartement d’un style documentaire ordinaire, produit une approche complexe de ses idées et sentiments concernant le conflit israélo-palestinien.
