A conversation between a young filmmaker and his friend reveals an overwhelming love for cinema.

synopsis

A young filmmaker tells a friend about the movie he is trying to make. He is bursting with enthusiasm but seems a bit anxious at the same time. The more he tries to convey his inner motivations, the more he feels a growing sense of doubt. Even when showing the fragments he's really proud of, an inevitable fear of inadequacy remains: can the images really show what he aims to tell?
Un jeune réalisateur parle à un ami d’un film qu’il essaie de faire. Il décrit de manière enthousiaste ses idées et il montre quelques fragments dont il est fier. Mais de temps en temps, l’hésitation apparaît : les images reflètent-elles le message qu’il veut transmettre ? Une conversation fascinante qui révèle avant tout une admiration pour l’image en mouvement.
Een jonge filmmaker vertelt een vriend over zijn project. Hij beschrijft enthousiast zijn ideeën en toont fragmenten waar hij trots op is. Maar af en toe weerklinkt er ook een aarzeling in het gesprek: passen de beelden wel helemaal bij wat hij vertellen wil? Een gesprek waarin twijfel en enthousiasme elkaar afwisselen. Een fascinerende conversatie waarin bovenal een grote liefde voor het medium weerklinkt.
