synopsis

A farmer's son is struggling to survive on his unprofitable farm, while his mother is slowly losing her grip on reality.
Emma, een oudere boerin gevangen in het verdriet over het verlies van haar man en de financiële turbulenties van het noodlijdende bedrijf, verliest langzaam haar greep op de realiteit. Ze verwart haar zoon continu met haar overleden man en weigert de dreigende teloorgang van de boerderij onder ogen te zien. Slaagt zoon Geert erin om zowel zijn moeder als de boerderij te redden?
