87-year-old Melvin Wisdahl lives in Corinth, a small ghost town in western North Dakota. He looks back on his life as a farmer on the Great Plains, taking us on a journey through a majestic and unpredictable land in which the immigrants struggled to survive and their descendants continue to face the challenge of constantly shifting natural and economic forces. A story about home.
De 87-jarige Melvin Wisdahl woont in Corinth, een klein spookstadje in het westen van Noord-Dakota. Hij kijkt terug op zijn leven als landbouwer op de Great Plains. Zo ontdekken we een majestueus en onvoorspelbaar land, waar de immigranten worstelden om te overleven en waar hun nakomelingen nog steeds geconfronteerd worden met de uitdaging van steeds wisselende natuurlijke en economische krachten. Een verhaal over je thuis voelen.
