synopsis

See No Evil portrays three famous elderly apes, now residents of retirement homes. They are Cheeta, the world's most famous chimpanzee and last survivor of the Tarzan films; Kanzi, the smartest ape on the planet; and Knuckles, a crippled ape who remembers the experimental space area. In the film's epilogue, an unknown ape offers a surprising message to mankind.
L’idée de faire ce film m’est venue en voyant sur le site web d’une station de radio américaine la photo d’un chimpanzé âgé assis dans une chaise longue en train de feuilleter une bande dessinée au bord d’une piscine.
See No Evil is een documentaire, verteld vanuit het perspectief en de herinneringen van drie bejaarde apen. Twee zijn beroemd geworden, eentje, onze verteller, gaat enigszins gemankeerd door het leven.
