Brothers United is a coming-of-age story about brotherly love, success and failure - about growing up and the choices you make.

synopsis

Two brothers have a shared dream - that of becoming professional football players. But when one of them is selected to play for a top club, he discovers the glamorous yet deceitful world of world-class football. The other brother's dream is shattered, however, and he has no choice but to find another way to make something of his life. One thing is certain: both they and their family will find out that there's a price to be paid for success. Will their love for each other turn out to be stronger than the call of money and fame?
Dennis en Alan zijn twee onafscheidelijke broers. Ze groeien op in een eenvoudig gezin en hebben één passie: voetbal. Als vierde klasse spelers dromen ze van een profcarrière. Plots krijgt één van hen een vet contract bij een topclub. De glamoureuze maar ook verraderlijke verleidingen van de voetbalwereld schudden de familie helemaal door elkaar. Terwijl de kersverse topspits moet leren omgaan met de roem, moet zijn broer gefrustreerd op zoek naar een ander doel in het leven. De ene droom wordt werkelijkheid, de andere ligt aan diggelen. Succes heeft zijn prijs. Wint de broederliefde het van de lokroep van de roem? De twee Spitsbroers worden razendsnel volwassen in een wereld waar mooie vrouwen en dure wagens botsen met de familiewaarden die ze al heel hun leven kennen.
