BlazHoffski's new reality gameshow format, Flashback, which premiered 24 March on BNN in The Netherlands, has been picked up by Warner Bros. International Television Production for worldwide format adaptations. Rights to Flashback will be presented for the first time at MIPTV.

FlashbackIn Flashback, five couples are taken to an exotic place. Each episode takes place over 13 hours, during which time the couples are tested for their physical skills and intelligence. Everything they see, hear, experience or endure during that time will be presented later as they face the memory challenge that will determine their fate, the Flashback contest. The candidate with the lowest score at the end of the end of the day is asked to leave, leaving behind his partner. The winner of the final episode takes home the €15,000 prize.

Originator of the Flashback format is Ief Stuyvaert of BlazHoffski Belgium. 'We believe Flashback will have great appeal to audiences around the world with its original, fast-moving, clever and engaging format,' he says. 'Audiences are taken on a journey with the contestants, feeling their pain and rooting for their success.'

'That Warner Bros. would pick up the worldwide format rights to Flashback is a huge recognition of all the hard work and creative efforts of the team, especially since we have launched and will launch a significant number of brand formats in the next months,' adds Dan Blazer, the creative director at BlazHoffski.
