synopsis

Chris arrives in an empty city carrying only his guitar case. He walks through the deserted train station towards the locker room where he checks the content of locker number 6. Later on, apparently by accident, he runs into Martin, an old friend from school. Martin introduces him to Anita and Steven who live right across the hall from him. This is the beginning of a whole string of weird incidents and bizarre coincidences that take our four protagonists via a mystirious briefcase full of money and a brutal murder in a downwards spiral of intrigues. It's a story about half truths and too many secrets, about friends and how to double-cross them, about red wine and vacuum cleaners, about your life as a straight line and about the day you have to take the garbageout, but most of all about the sad truth that crime doesn't pay...or does it?
Chris arrive dans une ville déserte, muni uniquement de son étui de guitare. Il marche à travers la gare déserte en direction de la salle des consignes, où il consulte le contenu du coffre numéro 6. Plus tard, vraisemblablement par accident, il court chez Martin, un vieil ami d’école. Martin le présente à Anita et Steven qui vivent en face de chez lui, sur le même pallier. C’est le début d’un enchaînement d’accidents bizarres et d’étranges coïncidences entraînant nos quatre protagonistes, via une valise mystérieuse pleine d’argent et un meurtre brutal, dans une spirale d’intrigues. C’est une histoire sur les demi-vérités et les secrets, sur les amis et comment les trahir, sur le vin rouge et les aspirateurs, sur votre vie en tant que ligne droite et le jour où vous devez vous débarrasser des déchets. Mais c’est surtout une histoire sur la triste vérité que le crime ne paie pas… ou peut-être que si ?
