Everything is dark blue in Eefje's world but sometimes she yearns for other colours.

synopsis

Eefje Darkblue lives happily in her dark blue house with its dark blue chairs, dark blue table and dark blue bed. Everything in Eefje's house is dark blue, even best friend Antonio, a dark blue fish. But sometimes she feels lonely so she decides to get to know the grey people of her town and enthusiastically erects a dark blue stand in the middle of the grey city to sell blueberry jam. But the grey people think Eefje is weird and are neither interested in her jam nor in talking to her. She looses heart and decides she would be happier alone in her dark blue house. But what if she were to encounter a sweet yellow prince?
Eefje Donkerblauw leeft gelukkig in haar donkerblauw huis met donkerblauwe stoelen, een donkerblauwe tafel, een donkerblauw bed, kortom alles in Eefje haar huis is donkerblauw. Zelfs haar beste vriend, Antonio de donkerblauwe vis. Soms kan het wel eenzaam zijn in dat grote donkerblauwe huis, dus probeert Eefje contact te zoeken met de grijze mensen in haar stad. Vol enthousiasme zet ze een blauw kraampje op midden in de grijze wijk om blauwe bessenconfituur te verkopen. Dat draait echter uit op een groot fiasco. De grijze mensen vinden Eefje vreemd en zijn helemaal niet geïnteresseerd om confituur te kopen, laat staan om met haar te praten. Hierdoor verliest Eefje helemaal de moed. Ze beslist dat ze helemaal geen mensen meer nodig heeft en dat ze gelukkig genoeg is alleen in haar donkerblauw huis. Maar wat als ze dan de lieve maar verlegen koning Goudgeel tegenkomt?!
