An orphaned journalist wants to write a book about the father he never knew and hitchhikes to the railway station of an old deserted village that was destroyed during WWII. He has only two memories from his childhood: his father went to Africa and his mother, a beautiful woman like Ingrid Bergman, died when he was six years old. But strange things happen at the station – the journalist is thrown back in time and finds himself at a small and charming railway station. Bombs are exploding and everywhere there is sabotage and conspiracies. Suddenly the journalist recognises his father, an 8-year-old boy who is trying to steal a forbidden Casablanca poster. As he tries to speak to him, German soldiers arrive and separate them. Will he be able to discover the truth about his parents?
