EN - Sylvain De Coninck is a Greek tragedy about a poor man who reaches the top but loses it all again. Sylvain is born a poor baker’s son but reaches fame and fortune by inventing the best Belgian waffle. He starts a record label and an offshore radio station. Everything he touches turns to gold. Prosecuted for illegal broadcasting, he goes into exile in Spain, where he loses control of his business and his private life. An intriguing story with a fascinating main character, against the backdrop of offshore radio in the 1970s. Inspired by true events.
