Flemish actor Wim Willaert has been nominated for his role in the series Home Grown, and the sixth season of Missing Persons Unit is also nominated for a Golden Panda at the 13th edition of the Sichuan TV Festival in Chengdu (China, 6-8 November). Both series were co-produced by Eyeworks Film & TV Drama. The Missing, a co-production with Czar TV for Flanders, was also nominated twice.

Home GrownIn the category of Best Actor in a TV Drama, Willaert is up against Guy Pearce (Jack Irish Dead Point) and James Nesbitt for his role in the Flanders co-produced The Missing which was also nominated for Best Photography.

The sixth season of Missing Persons Unit has been nominated for the Special Jury Award, and is the only TV series competing that does not originate from Asia. Three of the other nominees come from China and one from South Korea.

For its 13th edition, the Sichuan TV Festival in Chengdu received well over 5,000 entries from 77 countries and regions. An international jury will select the winners.
