Four young refugees prepare to leave their temporary home once they turn 18. A coming-of-age film about migration, which touches issues of social inclusion, growing up and loneliness.

synopsis

An intimate documentary about four young refugees on the verge of adulthood. They live together in a community home in Mechelen, Belgium, but once they turn 18 they must leave, to live and work independently. And Tomorrow, The Whole World is a narrative about teenagers’ lives after they flee their home countries. It is a story about dreams and, most importantly, about the search for a future in a new country.
En morgen, heel de wereld volgt Keerthana, Mesbah, Helen en Idris, vier pubers uit de leefgroep Juneco. Vanuit Sri Lanka, Eritrea en Afghanistan kwamen ze in Mechelen terecht. Hun emotionele wereld is woelig en onstabiel maar Juneco vormt voor hen een veilige basis. In de leefgroep leren ze met hulp van begeleidster Julie en psychologe Roselien op eigen benen te staan en zich te integreren.
