When Horst develops Alzheimer’s disease, his brother Franz realises it is too late to settle old scores.

synopsis

Horst has been taken into a nursery home with Alzheimer’s disease and he doesn’t feel like living anymore. Franz, needs money and the euthanasia of his only remaining family member, would be most welcome. That is why, after a lifetime of missed opportunities, Horst finds himself face to face with the man responsible for missing those opportunities: his brother, Franz. Can scores between the two brothers ever be settled? Even if Alzheimer’s is part of the game?
Horst komt, na een leven van gemiste kansen, terug oog in oog te staan met de man verantwoordelijk voor het missen van die kansen: zijn broer Franz. Rekeningen zouden kunnen vereffend worden, ware het niet dat Alzheimer in de weg zit.
