On the other side of the world, in Patagonia, southern Chile, is a town called Puerto Aysén. In this region, where nature has been protected for many years, foreign investors are now opening construction sites for a new industrial Eldorado: a large scale salmon farm and an immense aluminium factory will soon be built. How do the Patagonians respond to this? Torn between resignation and fighting, they share their points of view.

De l’autre côté du globe, en Patagonie, au sud du Chili, se trouve une ville appelée Puerto Aisén. Dans cette région, où la nature fut protégée pendant de nombreuses années, des investisseurs étrangers ouvrent aujourd’hui des sites de constructions pour un nouvel Eldorado industriel : Un élevage de saumon à grande échelle et une gigantesque usine d’aluminium y seront bientôt construits.
