synopsis

Twenty-year-old Max is the son of a sailor and lives in a boarding school for children of seamen and immigrants. During the holiday, when most of the children go back home, he stays there with a small group of fellow students. Together they try to bend the rules but, on the other hand, also try to create a home together.
Max, 20 ans, est le fils d’un marinier et habite dans un internat pour des enfants sans vie familiale stable. Pendant les vacances, quand la majorité des enfants sont à la maison, Il reste avec un petit groupe d’amis. Ensemble avec eux, ils essaient de plier les règles, mais d’autre part ils essaient aussi de créer un habitat familial. Un endroit sûr.
De twintigjarige Max is een schipperskind en leeft op een internaat voor kinderen zonder vaste thuissituatie. Tijdens de grote vakantie, wanneer de meeste kinderen terug bij hun ouders zijn, blijft Max daar met een kleine groep jongeren. Samen proberen ze de regels van hun leefomgeving te buigen en proberen ze er een thuis van te maken.
