Tale of Tales part of Venice's Neoludica expo

Work from independent game developers Tale of Tales is presented in Neoludica: Art is a Game 2011-1966, the first expo at the Venice Biennale entirely devoted to video games. Taking place in two locations, and running until 27 November, the expo is curated by Italian art critic Debora Ferrari. To celebrate the occasion, Tale of Tales have bundled their major games on a special limited edition USB stick that can be purchased from their online store.

Still from The Path by Tale of Tales'Ironically, there are only a few playable video games in this exhibition,' say Tale of Tales’ Auriea Harvey and Michael Samyn. 'Most of the works on display are simply works of fine art that appropriate elements from video games. Still, the presence of even a few artistic games in this prestigious event will probably become a historic milestone in the recognition of the medium as a new art form.'
