synopsis

Third Act is a film about aging. Leo is an 80-year-old' Peeping Tom'. On stage, he condemned to an old age home crowded by local extras in their third age. But in real life, his wife waits for him... in a home for the elderly in Belgium. What do you do in the third and final act of your life? And what do the elderly in other countries and cultures do when the curtain is about to fall?
Third Act is een film over oud worden. Leo is een 80-jarige acteur bij Peeping Tom. Op het podium is hij veroordeeld tot een rusthuis vol lokale figuranten van de derde leeftijd. Thuis, in België, wacht zijn vrouw op hem... in een echt rusthuis. Hoe breng je de derde en laatste akte van je leven door? Wat doen ouderen in andere landen en culturen wanneer het doek bijna over hun leven valt?
