A small giraffe and a tall giraffe have a chance meeting. Despite their obvious difference in stature, they discover a kinship.

synopsis

A small giraffe roams a barren planet, ignored by the taller giraffes. Then he meets a giraffe with a long neck, wearing a very long tie. He starts to climb up the tie and the two play together, the little one swinging on the tie. But suddenly, a malevolent cloud appears and rips the tie in two, trapping the tall giraffe inside. Finally, the other giraffes help the small one to build a ladder so he can return his part of the tie. Instead, the tall giraffe turns the tie into a bow-tie propeller. The small giraffe frolics in the air with the tall one, unaware that their reunion will be short-lived...
Op een kale planeet zwerft een kleine giraf die genegeerd wordt door de grotere giraffen. Dan ontmoet de kleine giraf een héél grote giraffe met een héél lange stropdas. Hij klimt naar omhoog. De twee giraffen spelen samen; de kleine schommelt aan de das van de grote. Maar plots duikt een kwaadaardige wolk op die de das in twee scheurt. De kleine giraf tuimelt naar beneden. Hij landt veilig, maar merkt dan dat de nek van de grote giraf omhult wordt door de boze wolk. De kleine giraf gebruikt de das op allerlei manieren om de aandacht te trekken van de grote, tevergeefs… Uiteindelijk helpen de andere giraffen hem om een ladder te bouwen. De kleine giraf wil de das teruggeven aan de grote, maar de grote weigert. Hij draait het lapje om in een propeller-vlinderdas voor zijn vriend. De kleine giraf dartelt en duizelt rond het giraffenplaneetje, onbewust dat de reünie niet lang zal duren…
