Assembling means both coming together and putting together. An Exercise in Assembling explores the former through the method of the latter. A selection of material from film archives in Berlin and Belgrade reveals patterns of how people came together in the transnational struggles of the 1960s and 1970s. From Lebanon to Guinea-Bissau. From Western Sahara to Palestine. From Cuba to Mozambique.
