The Hendriks-Jans family must survive in a dystopian world, where your score determines whether or not you can live within the walls of Arcadia. In Season Two, we follow the further adventures of the family after Pieter, the father, has been deported from Arcadia to the Outer World.

synopsis

Arcadia is a family drama set in a dystopian world in which almost all human life has been swept away by climate change. The survivors create a new world, a new order, a new society. They see it as a second chance for humankind. They introduce a citizen score, which determines what you can and cannot do, and what you are entitled to in daily life. But there’s a catch. There is also minimum score, below which you cost society more than you contribute. If you go below the minimum score, you are expelled beyond the walls of Arcadia, where there is nothing.
Arcadia is een familiedrama dat zich afspeelt in een dystopische wereld. Na wat we fase 5 van klimaatverandering kunnen noemen, wordt bijna al het menselijk leven weggevaagd. De overlevenden creëren een nieuwe wereld, een nieuwe orde, een nieuwe samenleving. Ze zien het als een tweede kans voor de mensheid en introduceren een burgerscore. Een score die bepaalt wat je wel en niet doen in Arcadia. Een score die bepaalt waar je recht op hebt. Maar er is een addertje onder het gras. Er is ook een minimumscore. Dat is het punt waarop je de samenleving meer kost dan je bijdraagt. Als je onder de minimumscore zakt, word je buiten de muren van Arcadia gestuurd waar niets is.
