synopsis

Olive arrives in a foreign land, in search of soil in which her plant can thrive. But she soon realises that putting down new roots may also be difficult for her. As If It Could is a semi-autobiographical story about borders, home and integration.
Lorsque la plante d'Olive ne pousse pas comme elle le devrait, Olive quitte sa maison à la recherche de nouveaux terrains. En arrivant dans un pays étranger, Olive se rend compte qu'elle ne peut pas non plus faire pousser de nouvelles racines aussi facilement. Comme si c'était possible est une histoire semi-autobiographique sur les frontières, le foyer et l'intégration.
Wanneer Olives plant niet groeit zoals zou moeten, verlaat zij haar huis op zoek naar nieuwe bodem. Aangekomen in een vreemd land, realiseert Olive zich dat zij ook niet zo gemakkelijk nieuwe wortels kan laten groeien. As If It Could is een semi-autobiografisch verhaal over grenzen, thuis en integratie.
