Beast tells the story of Walter Arfeuille, a tragic hero, in his life-long quest for recognition. He was once the world's most powerful strongman using his mouth, pulling trains and airplanes with his teeth. For nine years he battled John Massis to be recognised as the best. Yet Walter had one weakness: his penchant for money. He started dealing heroin, and ended up in jail. Today, 69-year-old Walter is a recluse, living in a small house, surrounded by a multitude of chickens and ducks. He wants to prove himself to the world one last time, with a near-impossible journey on a ladies' bicycle. Beast is a tale of recognition, strength and decay.
