A protective father and a conflicted mother discover that their new-born baby can heal others through mutual contact with water. But it comes at a price: alongside pain and the resulting trauma, the child's lifespan shortens as its aging process accelerates. When a terminally-ill adolescent relative finds out about this possibility for a second chance at life, he will do anything to get his hands on the child.
Een beschermende vader en een besluiteloze moeder ontdekken dat hun pasgeboren baby de gave heeft om mensen te genezen door wederzijds contact met water. Maar deze kracht heeft zware gevolgen. Naast pijn en trauma als rechtstreeks resultaat wordt de levensduur van het kind korter omdat het verouderingsproces versnelt. Wanneer een terminaal zieke jongen uit de familie achterhaalt dat er tweede kans op leven is, zal hij er alles doen om het meisje te bemachtigen.
