The day before the Congo gained independence, the sword of the Belgian king Baudouin was stolen by a young Congolese. Half a century later, we embark on a quest for both the sword and the thief, and attempt to explore the deeper meaning of that symbolic act.
Le jour avant que le Congo n’obtienne son indépendance, le sabre du roi Baudouin fut volé par un jeune congolais. Un demi siècle plus tard, une quête du sabre et de son voleur est entreprise, et nous découvrons la profonde signification de cet acte symbolique.
