A mother puts her trust in a miracle cure for her daughter’s illness.

synopsis

Unwilling to accept her teenage daughter’s terminal illness, a mother clings to the story of a miracle cure involving “healing earth”. She retreats to a forest, determined to dig up the cure that promises the impossible. When the daughter loses all hope of a happy end, the mother forces a breakthrough.
Een moeder kan de nakende dood van haar tienerdochter niet aanvaarden en zoekt inspiratie in een mirakelverhaal waarin helende aarde de hoofdrol speelt. Opgejaagd door de aftakeling van haar kind gaat ze in het bos uit de vertelling op zoek naar het middel dat het onmogelijke belooft. Wanneer haar dochter na de zoveelste tegenslag de hoop opgeeft, forceert de moeder een doorbraak.
