synopsis

Cathex is an artistic interactive virtual reality experience that takes the audience through a journey of catharsis based on the philosophy of Mary Whiton Calkins and ideas of panpsychism through a cyberfeminist lens. Players are immersed in a womb-like subconscious, where they must seek a long-forgotten memory of origin. Through emotion regulatory movements in VR, they become a catalyst of the unfolding storyline.
