An egg a day keeps the butcher away!

synopsis

In the heart of a big city... Zino, a self-absorbed rooster, struts through his tiny urban henhouse looking after his team. Polly, the terrifying landlord, threatens to sell them to the butcher next door if she doesn't get her daily eggs on time. A rollercoaster of action and comedy drags them through the day where they always manage to save their feathers (occasionally the planet...), and eventually all lay their life-saving egg.

Au coeur d’une grande ville... Zino, un coq égocentrique, se pavane à travers son petit poulailler urbain, prenant soin de son équipe de poussins adorables, bien que parfois totalement paranoïaques. Polly, le propriétaire terrifiant du poulailler, menace les poules de les vendre au boucher du coin si elles ne pondent pas un oeuf par jour. Afin d’éviter cela, chaque matin, Zino encourage ses poulettes avec la chanson de la ponte... parce qu’un oeuf par jour garde le boucher à distance ! Mais inévitablement, cette situation folle distrait toujours nos reines de la ponte et de la danse de faire leur travail matinal. Une multitude d’actions et de comédies les entraîne à travers les jours où elle parviennent toujours à sauver leurs plumes (et occasionnellement la planète...), et finalement pondent leur oeuf qui leur sauve la vie.
