Cobain's attempts to rescue his heavily pregant, drug addicted mother from the streets leads him to take drastic action.

synopsis

Cobain runs away from his new foster family because he is worried about his mother Mia, who is heavily pregnant and lives on the street. When Cobain demands that Mia gets help for herself and the baby, the two argue bitterly. He finds shelter with Wickmayer, Mia's ex and a pimp. When Mia contacts Cobain again, Wickmayer sends her away. But Mia keeps pulling Cobain in and he can see that she is deteriorating. Cobain realises that something needs to be done. He takes Mia to a remote, abandoned place where he locks her up to kick her drug habit. Although Mia resists at first, she slowly recovers. Then, as they are finally becoming closer, disaster strikes...
Cobain loopt weg uit zijn nieuwe pleeggezin omdat hij zich zorgen maakt om zijn moeder Mia, die hoogzwanger is en een zwervend bestaan leidt. Als Cobain eist dat Mia hulp zoekt voor haarzelf en de baby, krijgen de twee knallende ruzie. Cobain vindt onderdak bij Wickmayer, Mia’s ex die een paar vrouwen voor zich heeft ‘werken’. Als Mia weer contact zoekt met Cobain, stuurt Wickmayer haar weg. Maar Mia blijft aan Cobain trekken en Cobain ziet dat ze er steeds slechter aan toe is. Cobain beseft dat er iets moet gebeuren. Hij brengt Mia naar een verlaten plek waar hij haar opsluit om af te kicken. Hoewel Mia zich eerst verzet, knapt ze langzamerhand op. Maar als Cobain en Mia eindelijk naar elkaar toe groeien, slaat het noodlot toe.
