Teenager Ava struggles to mix music and family life.

synopsis

Fourteen-year-old Ava, the daughter of a once-successful techno DJ couple, lives with her father after her parents' divorce. When her mother Naomi wants to make an international comeback, Ava is confronted with the nightclub scene. Although Naomi feels in her element in this dark arena of hard beats, this is not Ava's world. She tries to adapt, but will have to fight not to lose her own identity.
Ava (14), dochter van een ooit succesvol techno-DJ-koppel, leeft na de scheiding van haar ouders bij haar vader. Wanneer haar moeder Naomi een internationale comeback wil maken, wordt Ava geconfronteerd met de nachtelijke clubscene. Hoewel Naomi zich in deze donkere arena van harde beats als een vis in het water voelt, is dit niet Ava’s wereld. Ava probeert zich echter aan te passen, maar zal moeten vechten om haar eigen identiteit niet te verliezen.
