A documentary about the migration of trees to the Brussels Arboretum 100 years ago.

"Douglas 130! Beech 80!" echoes through the Arboretum of Brussels. Over 100 years ago, trees were migrating from all over the world to Belgium. Victoria arrived 10 years ago from Washington D.C. Trees relocate, Victoria and her son Aaron move around. We move along with them, searching for solid ground where we can remain.
« Douglas 130 ! Hêtre 80 ! » résonne dans l’arboretum de Bruxelles. Il y cent ans des arbres venant du monde entier migraient vers la Belgique. Il y a dix ans Victoria Kabarozi est arrivée à Bruxelles depuis Washington D.C. Tel que les arbres qui se déplacent, Victoria et Aaron doivent déménager constamment. On voyage avec eux à la recherche d’une place solide où ils pourront rester.
‘Douglas 130! Beuk 80!’ weergalmt door het Arboretum van Brussel. Ruim 100 jaar geleden migreerden bomen vanuit de hele wereld naar België. Victoria Kabarozi migreerde 10 jaar geleden naar Brussel. Haar ouders stuurden haar naar Europa om te studeren. Ze is Oegandese door haar geboorteplek, Amerikaanse door haar leven in Washington D.C. Na haar studies Toerisme werd haar zoontje Aaron geboren. Ze vond niet snel genoeg werk en verloor zo haar recht om in België te blijven. De bomen verplaatsen zich, Victoria en Aaron verhuizen. We bewegen met hen mee, op zoek naar vaste grond waar we mogen blijven stilstaan.
