Pierre, a young Belgian soldier, wants to prove himself on the battlefield during the First World War. Behind the frontlines, he meets Francis, who is asked to find a way to boost morale.
Le jeune soldat Pierre veut faire ses preuves au front pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Derrière les lignes, il rencontre Francis, à qui l’on demande de trouver un moyen de remonter le moral des troupes.
1916. Pierre komt als nieuwe soldaat aan het front, gedreven om zich te bewijzen in de strijd. Achter de linies ontmoet hij Francis, die met geïmproviseerde shows de moraal van de troepen probeert hoog te houden. Terwijl de oorlog onverbiddelijk voortwoedt, proberen ze allebei aan de realiteit te ontsnappen, al is het maar voor even.
