synopsis

Danse Macabre begins in a massive graveyard. The camera descends underground where an orchestra plays a short Allegro from Dmitri Shostakovich's 10th Symphony, which continues throughout the film and drives the action to its harrowing conclusion. A multimedia project that consists of a short animated film, a series of oil paintings and orchestral performances.
