An animated film about Francis who, together with his mother, runs a family molecatching business. When his mother dies, everything changes.

Francis has been working together with his mother, Bertha, for his entire life. They have a family business as molecatchers, but Francis is no longer happy. When Francis loses his mother very suddenly he has to take care of the business all by himself.
Francis, een onderdanige en vredelievende man, werkt al heel zijn leven samen met zijn bazige moeder Bertha in hun familiebedrijf van mollenvangers. Stilaan begint het Francis te veel worden, al het doden en vangen van de mollen. Wanneer hij zijn moeder op heel abrupte wijze verliest tijdens een werkdag op het veld, moet hij plots alleen het familiebedrijf verderzetten.
