The continuing adventures of Dickie, the universal loser.

Whether he’s a farmer, a clown, an artist or a superhero, everything always goes wrong for Dickie. His naivety, self-centredness, vanity and awkwardness, both practically and socially, make him a charming and universal loser. He always starts with the best of intentions, but then things always turn out differently, confounding his hopes and expectations. Dickie is based on the popular comic strip created by Pieter De Poortere.
In 52 afleveringen van twee minuten zien we de avonturen van de universele loser Boerke. Of hij nu boer, clown, artiest of superheld is, het gaat elke keer mis. Zijn naïviteit, egocentrisme, ijdelheid, onhandigheid en sociale onbeholpenheid maken hem tot een charmante loser. Boerke heeft geen idee hoe hij zich sociaal wenselijk moet gedragen en hoe de maatschappij werkt. Hij bekijkt onze wereld als een buitenaards wezen. Hij begint altijd met de beste bedoelingen, maar de dingen lopen altijd anders dan hij had gehoopt en/of verwacht. Ondanks zijn tekortkomingen voelt de kijker toch sympathie voor Boerke omdat er in iedereen wel een beetje Boerke zit.
