A society of pink creatures lives peacefully on a tower, following one unwritten rule: wait in line to get to the top. Then one of them decides not to join the line...

synopsis

Life for the hermaphrodite creatures on the tower has one purpose: getting to the top. They do this by waiting in line. When someone dies the line gets shorter. When someone is born, the line gets longer, for those lower down. Yet no-one rebels, for fear of losing their place. Then a creature is born who looks a little different, and does not respect the established hierarchy. While this newcomer is at peace, the others are left in confusion and discord.
Une société de créatures roses vit au sommet d'une tour en paix sous une règle non écrite: « Attendez votre tour en ligne vers le haut ». Mais tout cela est brusquement sapé lorsqu'un citoyen ne respecte pas ce mode de vie.
Een samenleving van roze wezens leeft in vrede bovenop een toren met een ongeschreven regel: ‘Wacht netjes op je beurt in de rij naar de top'. Maar plotseling wordt dit allemaal ondermijnd wanneer een burger zich niet aan deze manier van leven houdt.
