A journey around Japan takes a young woman back to a former relationship.

synopsis

A young Belgian woman returns to Japan to gain insight and find peace in her past relationship with her Japanese ex-lover. She travels around Japan, observing nature as the seasons change. She is guided by the richness of the Japanese vocabulary, which has many words to describe the transience of nature and emotions that have no equivalent in Dutch or English. If she can accept this transience, she will be able to understand what happened to their love.
Een jonge Belgische vrouw keert terug naar Japan om inzicht te krijgen in en vrede te vinden met haar vroegere relatie met haar Japanse ex-geliefde. Ze reist door Japan en observeert de natuur terwijl de seizoenen veranderen. Ze laat zich leiden door de rijkdom van het Japanse vocabulaire, dat veel woorden kent om de vergankelijkheid van de natuur en emoties te beschrijven waarvoor in het Nederlands of Engels geen equivalent bestaat. Als ze deze vergankelijkheid kan accepteren, zal ze kunnen begrijpen wat er met hun liefde is gebeurd.
