synopsis

Jeremy and Aurora are lost at sea, floating on a log in the vast openness of the ocean. As they fail to understand each other’s desires and boundaries, the fight for survival and for their relationship becomes a bloody mess. Will our castaways be able to grow while trying to make it back to shore, or will they lose a piece of themselves along the way?
Jeremy et Aurora sont perdus en mer. Dans la vaste étendue de l'océan ils ne peuvent échapper l'un à l'autre, coincés ensemble sur un petit tronc d'arbre. Alors qu'ils ne parviennent pas à comprendre les désirs et les limites de l'autre, la lutte pour leur survie et celle de leur relation vire au carnage. Nos naufragés seront-ils capables de grandir tout en essayant de regagner le rivage, ou perdront-ils en chemin une partie d'eux-mêmes ?
Een koppel drijft in het midden van de oceaan op een boomstam. Jeremy, een onzekere jongeman met een moedercomplex, maakt de tocht moeilijker door zijn afwezige en onhandige gedrag. Aurora, een kordate en bazige jonge vrouw, is het beu om Jeremy met zich mee te sleuren en wil zo snel mogelijk van de reis af zijn. Wanneer Aurora zwaargewond raakt aan haar been tijdens een gevecht met een haai, lijkt het erop dat ze de overkant niet zullen halen. Hun bloedige reis over de oceaan zal hun verplichten om niet enkel het water, maar ook de afstand tussen hen in over te steken.
