A journey to 1980s Hungary via sound recordings, photographs and re-enactments. By means of a three-layered structure, the filmmaker reveals his point of view on his family's history and domestic conflict, whilst constructing his own memories of the intentionally forgotten years.
Fabric of Time neemt ons mee naar de jaren 80 van Hongarije door middel van foto’s, geluidopnames en performatieve re-enactments van de kindertijd. Het cinematografische experiment spreekt middels een drielagige structuur impliciet over het standpunt van de auteur op zijn familiegeschiedenis en huiselijk conflict, terwijl het nieuwe herinneringen construeert voor de opzettelijk vergeten jaren.
