Fortress Europe has collapsed and Northern Europeans are forced to migrate. A middle-class man gets stranded in a coastal village in search of a passage to a promised land. There he meets a girl and a dilemma arises: whether to stay with her in this fallow place or continue his overseas quest at an immoral price.
