Fikri’s reality has become absurd. Uprooted, he trains in Belgium to become a nurse, taking care of the elderly. He is assigned to look after Magritte, an old woman with Alzheimer’s disease. Both seem equally disoriented. On the surface. Fikri takes on different roles, sometimes playful, but restlessness fills his dreams. Where is his home? And which malaise to care for?
Fikri's realiteit is absurd geworden. Ontworteld volgt hij in België een opleiding tot verpleegkundige en zorgt hij voor ouderen. Hij wordt toegewezen aan Magritte, een oude vrouw met de ziekte van Alzheimer. Beiden lijken even verward. Aan de oppervlakte. Fikri neemt verschillende rollen aan, soms speels, maar onrust vult zijn dromen.
