Un jour d’été ensoleillé Kian et Nadir (11) voient la famille de Nadir se faire embarquer par la police de l’émigration. Pour éviter le même sort Nadir et Kian décident de s’enfuir. Le seul souci c’est que la fuite est plus rude que prévu, surtout quand on comprend que Kian fuit pour des raisons totalement différentes que son ami…
Op een bloedhete zomerdag zien de 11-jarige Kian en Nadir hoe de familie van Nadir wordt opgepakt door de vreemdelingenpolitie. Om te voorkomen dat Nadir ook wordt meegenomen, besluiten de vrienden om er samen vandoor te gaan. Maar vluchten blijkt minder makkelijk dan gedacht, zeker als blijkt dat Kian voor heel iets anders vlucht dan zijn vriend…
