This documentary about the life of Frits Van den Berghe has four parts: Nothing Human Was Unknown To Him, Drawings, Hiltler And Company and The Dream Is Also Reality. Van den Berghe is a Flemish painter who was an inspiration in the first part of the 20th Century. We learn about his most famous works, his lesser-known drawings, his socially critical cartoons and the grotesque, phantasmagoric paintings he painted towards the end of his life.
