Separated at birth, a twin brother and sister meet up in their early teens only to discover that neither of them can escape their past.

synopsis

Twins, a boy and a girl, are separated at birth. The girl grows up in a bourgeois home while her brother grows up in a street gang, neither knowing about the other's existence. Twelve years later their paths cross again and they discover their common destiny, imposed on them by adults. This is the beginning of an exciting journey to discover their roots and search for their independence. But neither is able to escape their past...
Zonder het van elkaar te weten, wordt een tweeling bij de geboorte gescheiden. Het meisje groeit op in de middenklasse, haar broertje in een straatbende. Twaalf jaar later kruisen hun wegen opnieuw en ontdekken ze hun gemeenschappelijk lot, hen opgelegd door de volwassenen. Het is het begin van een bewogen ontdekkingsreis naar hun roots én hun onafhankelijkheid, maar geen van beiden is in staat het verleden te ontlopen...
