Five musical school friends must perform a magic ritual to maintain their connection with the ghosts of an old rock band.

The Ghost Rockers, five friends enrolled in a stage school, have a special relationship with an old rock band, The Freebirds, whose spirits haunt the school basement. One of the friends, Jonas, inherits two very special objects from his grandmother, and these allow the Ghost Rockers to communicate with the spirits of the Freebirds. But to maintain the connection, they need to find three other objects and perform a ritual. The problem is, they are not the only ones looking for the five magical objects.
