synopsis

GOAT GIRL is a coming-of-age comedy about a heroine who tackles every challenge with goat-like stubbornness and strength. This is the wacky story of Gigi, a 13-year-old girl raised by mountain goats. Now that she’s a teenager, she faces her biggest challenge yet: surviving school—and, for the first time in her life, spending time around actual people… and maybe even making some new friends!
Tarzan is opgegroeid bij apen, Mowgli bij wolven. Gigi groeide op bij … geiten. Dit is het verhaal van Gigi, een meisje van 13 dat toevallig opgevoed is door berggeiten. Ze is nu een tiener en mama en papa vinden het tijd dat ze haar vleugels (euh … hoorntjes?) uitslaat. Dus gaat ze dit jaar naar een kostschool en voor het eerst in haar leven zal ze bij echte mensen zijn. Goat Girl gaat over je goed voelen in je vel, over blij zijn met jezelf, over je verschillen en typische trekjes omarmen – ja, zelfs je eigenaardigheidjes.
