synopsis

This is the story of Gigi, a 13–year-old girl who just happens to have been raised by mountain goats. But now that she’s a teenager, her Nanny and Billy think it’s time that she spread her wings (er… horns?). This year, she will attend a boarding school and, for the first time in her life, spend time around actual people. Goat Girl is about being comfortable in your own skin, about being happy being you, about embracing your differences and your quirks - and even your weirdness!
Tarzan is opgegroeid bij apen, Mowgli bij wolven. Gigi groeide op bij … geiten. Dit is het verhaal van Gigi, een meisje van 13 dat toevallig opgevoed is door berggeiten. Ze is nu een tiener en mama en papa vinden het tijd dat ze haar vleugels (euh … hoorntjes?) uitslaat. Dus gaat ze dit jaar naar een kostschool en voor het eerst in haar leven zal ze bij echte mensen zijn. Goat Girl gaat over je goed voelen in je vel, over blij zijn met jezelf, over je verschillen en typische trekjes omarmen – ja, zelfs je eigenaardigheidjes.
