The documentary Green Gold talks about the effects of the emerging biomass market. This is the story of a frantic race against time involving a series of prominent people ranging from politicians, political activists, oil company managers and scientists to energy and commodity gurus. They are all in competition. The emergence of this new industry is having a dramatic impact on our whole planet, putting our society in danger.
De documentaire Green Gold gaat over de gevolgen van de opkomende biomassamarkt. Het verhaal van een hectische race tegen de klok waar een reeks prominente mensen bij betrokken is, variërend van politici, politieke activisten, managers van oliemaatschappijen en wetenschappers tot energie- en grondstofgoeroes. Allen wedijveren allemaal met elkaar. De opkomst van deze nieuwe industrie heeft dramatische gevolgen voor onze hele planeet en brengt onze samenleving in gevaar.
