When Heidi rescues a lynx cub it is the beginning of an adventure that goes to the heart of her Alpine community.

synopsis

Spirited eight-year-old Heidi rescues a lynx cub from a greedy businessman threatening their Alpine home. Along the way, she uncovers her grandfather's hidden past and learns that true belonging means protecting both family and the wild places they call home.
In het hart van de Zwitserse Alpen, geniet de levendige, achtjarige Heidi van haar zorgeloze leven met haar norse maar liefdevolle grootvader, omringd door groene weiden en hoge bergen. Wanneer Heidi een gewonde lynxwelp redt uit een val die is gezet door de sluwe industrieel meneer Schnaittinger, noemt ze hem Pepper en verzorgt ze hem in het geheim tot hij weer hersteld is.
