A young woman with Tourette’s syndrome has a chance to realise her dream of teaching when she meets the family of her late estranged father.

Yasmine, a woman in her late twenties with Tourette’s syndrome, leads a confined life with her mother, Christine, and her challenging friend, Kim. Dreaming of teaching, she tutors privately to control her tics. When her estranged, terminally ill father, Abdulmalek, reappears seeking forgiveness, Yasmine initially rejects him. When she changes her mind, it is too late. Urged by Kim, she meets her welcoming Moroccan half-siblings, stepmother and grandmother, and finally gets a chance to teach. Amid cultural clashes and sceptical students, can she embrace her dream?
