Two Iranian refugees stage a very personal protest when they learn they may be repatriated to Iran.

Shayan and Homayoun are two undocumented Iranians who are waiting to obtain their papers. Together with around 15 fellow countrymen, they have been sheltered for months in a church in the heart of Brussels. After weeks of negotiations, the police turn up at the church to move the foreigners to detention centres. Their cases will be reviewed one last time, after which they may be repatriated to Iran. Driven to despair, Homayoun and Shayan make a final stand by climbing to the top of a crane, defying a country in which human rights should not be ignored.
Shayan et Homayoun sont deux Iraniens sans papiers qui attendent d’obtenir leur permis. Ensemble avec une quinzaine d’autres Iraniens, ils ont été abrités pendant des mois dans une église au coeur de Bruxelles. Après des semaines de négociations, la police arrive à église pour déplacer les étrangers dans un centre de détention. Leur cas va être réétudié une dernière fois, après quoi ils pourraient être rapatriés en Iran. Désespérés, Homayoun et Shahyan font une dernière tentative en grimpant au sommet d’une grue, défiant un pays dans lequel des droits de l’homme ne devraient pas être ignorés.
